3 new models; starting at $1,099
DALLAS, TX, February 08, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Denago Electric Bike Company (https://denago.com/), the start-up led by a group of bicycle industry veterans, now has 10 months under its belt and is gearing up for 2023. Within those past ten months, the eBike company has grown from one employee to twelve, launched six models with seven more on the way, and opened the first Denago Experience Center at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, Texas. Denago is hitting the road at the CABDA trade shows to identify more Independent Bicycle Dealer retail partners across the United States, and will launch several new eBikes at the Sea Otter Classic.
“In 2022 we built a great foundation with a focus on establishing the best-in-class customer service, and driving future innovative new product development. Our best asset has been our team of industry veterans whose knowledge and expertise within the electric bike industry has allowed us to create the best service, best eBike models and ultimately a great experience for our customers,” says Dave Duecker, Denago’s CEO.
This February, Denago will launch several new models including a folding eBike, a cruiser and an updated version of their award-winning City 1 model; the City 2. The Cruiser is a Class 2 eBike and the Folding and City 2 are Class 3. All models feature integrated batteries and rear hub motors, with list prices from $1,099 to $1,499.
Joe Werwie, the Head of Product said, “I am excited to get the new products out to our bicycle dealer network. These models were designed ground-up by our US product team, incorporating feedback from eBike riders and purposeful design. We are just getting started, we have four additional models coming later this year and are focusing on building out our USA-based innovation and development team to continue our focus on unique eBikes.”
A key element to the success of Denago has been their partnerships with independent bicycle dealers across the United States: “We view the bicycle dealer market as the cornerstone of our strategy,” said Jeff Weiss, Head of Sales. “Our goal is to make Denago the easiest company to partner with long-term. We’ve hired a sales and customer service team with decades of bike shop experience. We’re building a great brand with a unique story to tell and we’re looking for strong bike retailers to join us on this journey.”
Another major goal for 2023 is to tell the Denago story and drive consumers to dealers. “We have focused on building out a best-in-class dealer portal, and have partnered with Locally to display inventory on the shelf at our dealer network on Denago.com, both to better service the dealer market,” said Justin Christopher, the Head of Digital Marketing. “These tools help drive riders to our brick and mortar partners.”
For the remainder of 2023, Denago will continue to expand on its product line, grow the independent bicycle dealer network, and launch more Denago Experience Centers with the purpose of educating consumers and building brand awareness of the Denago brand.
Denago Electric Bikes was founded in 2022 in Dallas, Texas by a group of bicycle industry veterans who wanted to focus on bringing quality eBikes to the market at an affordable price. The team recognized the need for an accessible, well-designed and built electric bike.
