DUBAI, UAE, March 01, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — The third edition of Investopia (Investopia 2024) opened in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), under the theme Emerging Economic Frontiers: Investing in the New Economy Growth Sectors, bringing together global businesses, government ministers, investors and, Future 100 initiative represntatives. The latest edition of the event is being held over two days on 28 and 29 of February. The launch of the second edition of the ‘Future 100 initiative,’ a joint initiative between the Ministry of Economy and the Government Development & The Future Office, to foster emerging businesses in future economy sectors, took place on the opening day.
Investopia 2024 was opened by H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy in the United Arab Emirates and Chairman of Investopia, in the presence of H.E. Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Managing Director and CEO of Mubadala Investment Company, Shamsa Al Falasi, CEO of Citibank Group – UAE, and Mr. Anthony Scaramucci, Founder and Managing Partner of SkyBridge Capital.

Three key pillars of Investopia
The three main pillars of Investopia are Investopia Global Talks, Investopia Investment Communities, and Investopia Marketplace. Global Talks enables international business leaders and investors to explore ing global investment trends, while the Marketplace focuses on connecting global investment funds.
In his keynote address, H.E. Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Managing Director and CEO of Mubadala Investment Company, highlighted the importance of investments in new economy sectors and the economic integration and investment innovation needed to capitalize on these opportunities.
Scaramucci noted that the UAE stands out globally with a competitive business environment and entrepreneurial potential.

Investopia 2024 is being held in partnership with Mubadala Investment Company, ADQ, Crypto.com, Standard Chartered, Citibank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Emirates Development Bank, and the Global Forum for Entrepreneurship and Investment SALT and iConnections platform.
The event hosts more than 90 speakers, with 38 sessions covering economic trends. The panel discussions and sessions hosted by Investopia 2024 include: New Economic Frontiers: Navigating the Unknown; and Navigating the New Economy: Global Economic Trends Challenging Governments.
US-based iConnections platform is the fintech partner and is organizing ‘Cap Intro’ focusing on capital provision in cooperation with SALT.
Investopia 2024 builds on the success achieved by the previous two editions, which collectively attracted more than 3,500 participants from 60 different countries and announced strategic projects worth more than AED 370 million.
Investopia is one of the main initiatives within the first package of the ‘Projects of the 50’ announced by the UAE government in 2021, aiming to build the most innovative economy in the world.
