Expect this semi-annual event to drop the needle on music fans of all ages
HURST, TX, January 23, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ — This Sunday, music lovers can attend the 4th semi-annual DFW Record Show, an event that will showcase a nostalgic era of music format. Local record shops and private collectors will bring music products old and new, including vinyl, vintage audio, modern audio equipment, and more to over 100 tables in a 14,000 square-foot space.
The DFW Record Show is a 1-day event held on January 28th, 2018 at the Hurst Conference Center’s Lumiere Ballroom, located at 1601 Campus Dr., Hurst, TX 76054. Admission will be $5 for 10am entry, which is available for purchase online or at the door day of. Additional entry options include early bird admission at 9am for $10, available for purchase online only, up to the day before the event. Close is at 4pm. Purchase tickets online.
Attendees will have access to free wifi, free parking, concessions, and two ATMS located conveniently across the street.
Born out of a nostalgic love for vinyl and the call for an outlet to find that perfect piece, the DFW record show was created as a response. The event is an semi-annual opportunity for collectors, retailers, and music fans to come together in one place to buy, sell, and trade all pieces of this wonderful music format. Although vinyl was suppressed by the production of CDs in the late 1980’s, this era has made a huge and much deserved comeback, from a modest 1 million annual sales in 2007 to an impressive 14 million in 2017.
Specific items to be showcased during the event include, but are not limited to, 45s, 78s and 33 1/3s, CDs, rare Beatles items, vintage Rock n’ Roll collectibles, autographs, posters, and more. Come join music lovers across the DFW metroplex and indulge in a century of music.
