San Diego Magazine and San Diego Medical Society Top Doctor 2023 Award
SAN DIEGO, CA, October 11, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Dr. Mona Mofid, Dermatologist and Medical Director of The American Melanoma Foundation was recently recognized with the “Top Docs” 2023 honor chosen by the San Diego Medical Society in their yearly peer-nominated roundup. Physicians are asked to vote for who they would send their own family to as part of the nomination process. This marks the sixth time Dr. Mona has been recognized with this prestigious honor.
Dr. Mona Mofid was also recently awarded the coveted Castle Connolly Top Doctor award for the ninth year, of which only around 7 percent of the nation’s licensed physicians are selected.
As a graduate of The Johns Hopkins Medical School, Dr. Mona Mofid also completed her Dermatology training at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and is currently a Dermatologist in private practice with offices in both La Jolla and Coronado, California. She is a member of the independent physician association, Sharp Community Medical Group, which was chosen as the “Best Medical Group” by the San Diego Union Tribune readers. Focusing mostly on skin cancer and melanoma, she is an esteemed physician member of over 1700 providers in the San Diego area. Dr. Mona has consistently received top honors for patient care and has been the recipient of the Top Specialist Award, chosen by patients annually, for over 10 years.
